Dad’s Cookie Company releases first-ever Holiday Cookie in nearly 100 year history

Dutchtown: Dad’s Cookie Company today announced its first-ever holiday cookie: Shortbread Snowflake, available in St. Louis area Schnucks, Dierbergs and at its iconic storefront in South St. Louis.

“St. Louisans see our iconic blue and white bags at their neighborhood Schnucks or Dierbergs,” says Chad Huber, President of Dad’s Cookie Company. “Now, for a limited time only, our Holiday red bag with Shortbread Snowflake cookies builds on the tradition generations have come to love."

The Shortbread Snowflake is a limited production run and only available locally in St. Louis during the holiday season.

True to its St. Louis roots, the holiday cookie will be offered exclusively at local grocers Schnucks and Dierbergs. In addition, the project could not have been brought to life without the close partnerships of various local establishments such as Enterprise Label, Inc (Pacific, MO) and Loy-Lange Box Company (St. Louis City).

“We’ve always considered ourselves in the happiness business and what better way to kick off the holiday season, then a brand new shortbread cookie created by St. Louisans for St. Louisans,” says Huber.

In keeping with the giving spirit of the holidays, Dad’s Cookie Company is giving away a free pound of cookies at its iconic Dutchtown store to any customer who shares a photo of Snowflake Shortbread from their local Dierbergs or Schnucks and tags @DadsCookieCo.
